Well, the site is somewhat up and running! I'd like to take the time to welcome our new staff members, Esko the Wolf and Leia Organa. Esko has joined as a moderator, and Leia will moderate as well as write for the site.
Congratulations, and welcome!
Now, onto the juicy stuff.
I'm working on constructing this world to be as detailed as can be. Maps, history, historical figures, everything. I want to go all out on this. If you have any ideas or want to have some input on how the world works, PM Leia and/or I or drop a comment here.

Ah, sweet!
Since this is an RP site, not a book, you shouldn't fall into the trap of having a *too* detailed world - they tend to be restricting to the plots and characters people can use. Also, this site seems to also be geared toward less experienced roleplayers, and those people are probably just going to skip most of the lore provided if you have too much of it. I mean, I love reading worldbuilding and even I tend to skim over lore when I'm trying to RP. xD I'd suggest just a couple paragraphs on each island/country/kingdom and its geography, then its culture and history, et cetera.

I was thinking something along the lines of that for now, yes. I had actually started a few stories way back, as this was a world I've been using for a while, but they never really got anywhere. I myself like to do worldbuilding as it interests me, and I like to know the past events and people that helped shaped the world and kingdoms and their cultures that they have today.
